AIREY Protocol Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 2025

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how AIREY Protocol ("AIREY," "Protocol," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in relation to our decentralized protocol, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Policy is designed to help you understand what information we might collect, how we use it, and what choices you have regarding your information.

IMPORTANT: As a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol, AIREY operates primarily on public blockchains. Information submitted to a blockchain is public by nature and cannot be removed or deleted. You should be aware that blockchain addresses and transactions are not truly anonymous but pseudonymous, and it may be possible to identify individuals based on this information and other available data.

  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: Information collected through cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for more details.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third parties, including:

  • Blockchain data from public blockchains
  • Analytics providers
  • Marketing partners
  • Social media platforms

We use the information we collect for various purposes, including to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our Services
  • Develop new products, services, and features
  • Process transactions and send related information
  • Send administrative messages, updates, security alerts, and support messages
  • Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
  • Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Services
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities
  • Personalize and improve your experience
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Blockchain Data

4.1 Public Nature of Blockchain

AIREY operates on public blockchains. Due to the public nature of blockchain technology, transactions that you submit through our Services will be publicly visible on the blockchain. This includes your public wallet address and transaction details. We do not control and are not responsible for any information you make public on the blockchain.

4.2 AI Analysis

AIREY uses artificial intelligence to analyze on-chain data for yield optimization and risk assessment. This analysis is performed on aggregated, pseudonymous data and does not attempt to re-identify individual users beyond their public wallet addresses.

4.3 Immutability of Blockchain Data

You acknowledge and understand that:

  • Once information is recorded on a blockchain, it becomes permanently stored and cannot be modified or deleted
  • Your transaction history, including wallet addresses, transaction amounts, timestamps, and other details, will be permanently visible on the blockchain
  • Even if you discontinue use of the Protocol, your historical blockchain data will remain publicly accessible
  • The Protocol has no ability to remove, delete, or modify any data that has been recorded on the blockchain

You are solely responsible for any information you submit to the blockchain through your use of the Protocol. You should carefully consider the implications of making any information publicly available on a blockchain.

5. How We Share Your Information

We may share the information we collect in various ways, including:

5.1 Vendors and Service Providers

We may share information with vendors, consultants, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf.

5.2 Analytics Partners

We may share aggregated or de-identified information with third-party analytics providers to help us understand how users interact with our Services.

5.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with applicable laws, in response to a court order, judicial or other government subpoena or warrant, or to otherwise cooperate with law enforcement or other governmental agencies.

5.4 Business Transfers

We may share information in connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

5.5 Consent

We may share information with your consent or at your direction.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no security system is impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the security of our systems or your information.

Given the nature of blockchain technology, transactions on the blockchain are irreversible and cannot be deleted. Your wallet address and transaction history will remain permanently stored on the blockchain.

User Responsibility for Security:

  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your private keys, wallet, and credentials
  • We strongly recommend using hardware wallets, enabling two-factor authentication where available, and following security best practices
  • Never share your private keys, seed phrases, or passwords with anyone, including the Protocol's team members
  • Be vigilant against phishing attempts and only interact with the Protocol through official channels
  • The Protocol cannot recover lost or stolen assets, reverse transactions, or assist with compromised wallets

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Access: You may request access to your personal information.
  • Correction: You may request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion: You may request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Restriction: You may request that we restrict the processing of your information.
  • Data Portability: You may request a copy of the information you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
  • Objection: You may object to our processing of your information.

To exercise these rights, please contact us through our contact form.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about your browsing activities and to distinguish you from other users of our Services. This helps us provide you with a good experience when you browse our Services and allows us to improve our Services.

You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when websites set or access cookies. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of our Services may become inaccessible or not function properly.

9. International Data Transfers

We may transfer, process, and store information about you on servers located in various countries, including outside your country of residence. Data protection laws may differ from jurisdiction to jurisdiction, and by accessing our Services, you consent to the processing and transfer of your information in and to the United States and other countries, where you may not have the same rights and protections as you do under local law.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information of a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information as soon as possible.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice. We encourage you to review the Privacy Policy whenever you access the Services to stay informed about our information practices and the choices available to you.

12. Contact Us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices, please contact us.

13. DeFi-Specific Privacy Considerations

As a decentralized finance protocol, AIREY has several unique privacy considerations that users should be aware of:

  • Pseudonymity, Not Anonymity: While blockchain addresses do not directly contain personal information, they are pseudonymous rather than anonymous. Advanced techniques may potentially link addresses to identities.
  • Cross-Chain Interactions: When using the Protocol across multiple blockchains, your activity on each chain may be correlated, potentially reducing your overall privacy.
  • Smart Contract Interactions: Your interactions with the Protocol's smart contracts are visible to anyone observing the blockchain, including which functions you call and with what parameters.
  • Front-Running Risk: Due to the public nature of pending transactions, there is a risk that others may observe and act upon your transactions before they are confirmed (known as front-running).
  • No Deletion Rights: Due to the immutable nature of blockchain technology, we cannot honor deletion requests for on-chain data, even if such requests would otherwise be required by applicable privacy laws.

By using the Protocol, you acknowledge these privacy limitations and accept the inherent transparency of blockchain systems.

By using the AIREY Protocol, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
